The VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program is an IRS initiative that provides free tax help to people with low and moderate income, individuals with disabilities, seniors, and those with limited English proficiency.
RazomUS is proud to be part of this program — and we invite you to join us!
Ukrainians living in the U.S. who want to volunteer in their community
Students, accountants, attorneys
Anyone who wants experience in taxes and government programs
People with English skills ranging from beginner to advanced (some roles don’t require speaking English!)
Tax Preparer
Learn to complete tax returns using special IRS-approved software
Interpreter / Client Assistant
Help clients who don’t speak English
Greeter / Intake Specialist
Welcome clients and help them complete intake forms
Quality Reviewer (for experienced volunteers)
Review completed tax returns for accuracy
Free online training provided by the IRS
We offer training in Ukrainian!
After passing the IRS test, you will receive an official VITA certification
Just a few hours per week (October through January — training period)
Volunteer season runs February through April
You can work remotely or at a RazomUS location
IRS official certificate
Hands-on experience with U.S. tax preparation
